Arvad crewmates are characters from the generational ship Arvad. In addition to their class and traits, they have a previous job title that can contribute department-specific bonuses to their crew.
Arvad Citizens and Specialists can have different job titles across the ship’s departments. Department Heads have the highest-tier titles. Specialists receive an extra half-tier when calculating job bonuses; Citizens and Department Heads do not receive that extra half-tier.
Each department has five job tiers. A relevant department bonus is multiplied by the crewmate’s job tier, including the Specialist adjustment where applicable. Departments without a current ability bonus do not add one to the crew calculation.
