Beyond Sol Enterprises hosted a global dedication ceremony for its Generational Ship Fleet on the First of June, 2246, at 10:00 -04:00 UTC. Present were dignitaries from around the world, primarily from the United Nations, which had been the most prominent co-sponsor of the Generational Fleet program.
Artistic and religious figures were included in the ceremony. Lauren Gorman, the third Poet Laureate of the United Nations, read an original poem commemorating the event. Pope William Musk-Gates III of the Martian Church of Scientology read a prayer and brief homily on behalf of the crew and pioneers.
This program is the only known surviving copy of just four to have been brought aboard the Arvad. It is the first and oldest primary document maintained by the Adalia Standards and Historical Corps.

The Arvad was a massive place. Areanna wanted to count all of its rooms but had never managed to see more than seventy or so. Surely there was more to the ship than the family quarters, recreation chambers, and dining halls, but no one in her residential block seemed to know or care the answer to her query. Areanna was frustrated… READ MORE

The beginning of the first colonial generation aboard The Arvad is documented to ahve taken place 17 years after the initial launching of the craft. With this came a new set of challenges. How were these children going to be taught. Some parents wanted a more rigid system of schooling akin to those of Earth, others, more specialized in their craft and wanting to pass it onto their own offspring wanted a more at home education for their newborns.
Ultimatly, after a series of public debates and votes, it was decided that starting at age four, a standardized education would be carried out. This education would give a general understanding of the maths, sciences, and language to there young pupils. History was largly glossed over, with one class being taught at age eight with this serving prodominently to educate the students about the industrialization of earth and how it's story will aid thos who settle the new Earth.
At age 10, formal education would become optional, with those who work within the agriculture districts and mechanical shops amongst others being given a choice to take their own children and others as apprentices.
As for textbooks, many had been brought aboard for such a purpose, but historical texts such as this one only began being written once all the above was set in place.

In the later generations aboard the Ardvad, the lack of historical teaching of Earth-Based history made the radical and frequent feuds of Balkan society would be slowly quelled and replaced with a more joint Balkan culture, seeing themselves as though vastly different, still intertwined with each other's story.
Slowly a leader by the name of Selina Rustovania, a Bosnian would emerge and after much dialogue, contests of martial prowess and votes, she would emerge as the President-General of the Balkan Prosperity League or BPL.
After the turmoil following the discovering of no habitable planets within the Adalian system, BP was one of the many groups which protested the Council's decision on asteroid colonization. To which the council promptly told then to "Cope and Seeth". This caused tensions to flair further including several speeches making references to this failed and over reaching government.
As the Third Phase of system development came to it's launch, BP prepared to make it's mark and to maybe one day, fix the broken system that was the council.
’Twas a week ‘fore Arrival, and all through the ship,
Not a sensor was pinging, not even a blip.
The smelters were stacked tall in cargo bays full,
In hopes that some resources soon would be pulled...
