Forged from humble beginnings to one of the most successful industrial powers across the belt, dedicated to industrial dominance and market control, whilst providing a fair living to all.
Company Motto: Mine, Refine and Repeat.
I once stood in my fathers footsteps, but no longer, i forged my own path and followed my dreams, one i know he would of been proud of should he be alive to see it.
Whilst others arrived from wealth, we were merely a mining family, constantly on the brink of survival. It has taken great sacrifice to achieve what we now call ‘McCallum Industries’, starting as nothing but a whisper among the under-trodden mining families and growing to one of the most powerful industrial powers in the belt - by banding together as one we thrived and made this dream a reality, not only for ourselves, but the generations to come.
One can not put a price on a dream…
Fathers memoirs - ‘’Where do i start… Oh yes, the beginning will do, I first opened my eyes to this world 28 earth years ago, or at least i think it was, time doesn't seem to work the same in the vastness of space… as i grew i had such hope for the future… i looked into the void each day and dreamed of a new world, a better world, one where the greed of those that came before us would not touch, as if human nature would somehow change in a flash, but it was not meant to be…
This new system, even though unique in so many ways, is in itself the same. No sooner had we landed that the now vast corporations began to form, seizing control of anything and everything they could, ensuring they not only had control of the land we lived, but the food and air we needed to survive… controlling our very lives…
Sadly, much time has passed since I gazed into the vastness of space and saw the dreams i once had, instead all i now see is the next lifeless rock i will undoubtedly be commissioned to obtain for another's betterment… It pains me to dwell on such things, but work is work and dreams are a luxury i can no longer afford… I must put my family first.
I hope my children do not lose the hope i once had, and find the courage to strive for better… for we are nothing, without our dreams…''
