NAME: Every asteroid has an ID and a NAME. The ID never changes. The owner of an asteroid can re-name it, with a unique name, at any time.
SPECTRAL TYPE: There are 11 different spectral types in Adalia. The spectral type provides an indication of the types of resources present on the asteroid.
RESOURCE GROUPS: The types of resources which can be found on a particular spectral type. Each of the 11 spectral types has a resource group.
YIELD BONUSES: The bonuses to the mining of resources applied when an asteroid is scanned.
LOTS: The number of buildable spaces on an asteroid. The number of lots on an asteroid is equal to the asteroid’s surface area (denominated in km2). Ex. 100km2 = 100 lots of buildable space.
ORBITAL MECHANICS: Asteroids in Adalia orbit pursuant to realistic orbital mechanics. The following orbital elements affect the position of an asteroid:
SIZE: There are four size categories, and within each category there is a gradation of sizes.
RARITY: The sum of the bonuses applied to an asteroid. There are six grades of rarity, each with a different approximate chance of rolling said bonuses when scanning an asteroid.
BONUSES: There are 6 categories of bonuses. Each of the 11 spectral types has the ability to attain some of the 6. About 55% of asteroids will be composed of “Common” asteroids that have no bonuses.
Below is the chart to identify the bonus level and the % increase in yield specific to the resource group.
The above chart will help you easily navigate asteroids while looking at them on Opensea.io.
