The Spaceport is a large building that allows many ships to dock at a single lot on the surface of an asteroid. All ship types may dock at a Spaceport, but Shuttles and Heavy Transports may only land in a Spaceport.
Docked ships may have cargo and propellant loaded and unloaded, and Crews stationed in docked ships may use those docked ships as bases for performing actions on the asteroid’s surface.
Docked ships may belong to many different Crews and players, as long as they have the needed permission to dock.
There may only be a certain number of docked ships in a Spaceport, and the fuller the Spaceport becomes, the slower docking and undocking becomes.

Land Ship | Land a ship at this Spaceport. The ship must be in orbit around the same asteroid, and must be piloted by a Crew with permission to dock at the Spaceport.
Launch Ship | Launch a ship docked at this Spaceport to orbit. The Crew doing the launching must be piloting the ship.
Force Launch Ship | Launch a ship docked at this Spaceport to orbit. The ship must not have permission to be docked at the Spaceport (either because the Spaceport was formerly public but was switched to a private or other restricted policy, or because the ship’s piloting Crew changed to one without permission or was removed from an allowlist, or because an Agreement that was in place has expired) and the Crew doing the force launching must own the Spaceport. The ship will utilize a tug-launch, not requiring any propellant but potentially taking a long time to reach orbit. The ship does not need to have anybody in it. The ship itself, not the Spaceport, must be selected to do this.
Deconstruct | Deconstruct the Spaceport. A Spaceport construction site is created and 90%+ of the construction supplies are returned, but rounded down to the nearest whole unit. |
The Spaceport is limited to a maximum of 50 docked ships. When ships dock and undock from the Spaceport, they will encounter a time delay on the order of several minutes that linearly increases with the number of ships in the Spaceport.
See the Spaceport guide for detailed how-tos.
