NOTE: If you haven’t bridged your asteroids from Ethereum, please refer to the Bridge Guide first.
NOTE: If you don’t have ETH on Starknet but have some on Ethereum, use Starknet’s official token bridge for the transfer. Otherwise, use the “Add Funds” option within your desired account.
If you are not already logged into your account provider (Argent or Braavos), please login now.
- Navigate to game.influenceth.io and click “Login”.
- Sign the message that appears, and you will be redirected to the game client and successfully logged in.
If you already own an asteroid, you can skip this section.
- From the game view, click “System Search” on the far right (The icon is a magnifying glass with three stars).
- Within this panel you can refine your search criteria for an asteroid you want to purchase.
- Once you have refined the search criteria, you can select an asteroid directly on screen (indicated by the small white dots within the asteroid belt).
- Once happy with the selection, click the “flag” icon in the bottom left to bring up the Asteroid Details Menu, where you will see a purchase button on the bottom of the menu in blue.
- Once you have clicked purchase, your account will prompt you to confirm.
NOTE: If at this time you do not have enough ETH to purchase the asteroid, it may require you to fund your wallet with more.
NOTE: If you are unfamiliar with asteroids, please learn more about them here so that you can understand what you are purchasing before you commit to buying.
- Click on the “My Assets” menu button (compass icon on the far right).
- From the list of your asteroids click on one of them to select it.
- On the bottom left of your screen click the keyring icon next to your selected asteroid to “Become Administrator”. In the menu that opens, click “Set Crew” and confirm the action in your account.
NOTE: If you own a crewmate and have an active crew, and are on that account, the management of a newly purchased asteroid will automatically be assigned to that crew, and you don’t need to do the above process, unless swapping control to a new crew.
- Select the asteroid from “belt view” or, if zoomed into an asteroid, click the name of the asteroid in the bottom left corner. This will bring up the “Asteroid Details Menu”.
- In the Asteroid Details Menu, find the “Rename Asteroid” button located at the bottom of the menu, click it.
- Enter your desired name and click “Save,” confirming any transactions initiated by your account.
NOTE: Limited Release only supports “Long-Range scanning” to reveal general bonuses and rarity of the asteroid.
- Select the asteroid, click the radar icon in the bottom left corner.
- In the new menu, click “Start Surface Scan” and confirm this action.
NOTE: Surface scanning takes 1 hour to complete. You don’t need to wait on this screen, but you will need to return to finalize the scan.
- Once the asteroid scan is complete, click “Asteroid Surface Scan” in the action log on the left labeled “Ready” in green. This will bring the Finalize Asteroid Scan menu up.
- Click “Finalize” and confirm the action.
